Strong Knowing
The Beginning, Middle and End
A 10-class series with over 15 hours of video and 80 pages of written supporting material + email support from Megan & Chris
$75 USD
Strong Knowing: The Beginning, Middle & End is the Megan & Chris take on the fundamentals of mindful awareness practice. If you are a new client or student, we recommend you go through this material even if you have taken “many mindfulness classes & retreats.”
The material is designed to awaken the heart-vow to know our inner experience strongly, clearly and continually throughout all states and situations. To awaken the commitment to seeing the mundane realities of life as path. To root us firmly in the observation of everyday mind and conduct as the absolute core of the path to liberation. There is no other place where freedom can actually occur. You are never going to have or “be in” someone else’s experience, no matter how beautiful and exalted they make it sound. Ceaselessly, life strips you of your projections and throws you back into the apparently boring, stripped-down simplicity of this moment as you are actually living it. If you don’t develop the interest and deep devotion to hang-out there, the path cannot unfold! We just remain in the top-heavy, projected world the conditioned mind built (and continues to manage, with significant collateral damage!).
This course is the core support for beginning to break free of that prison!

Course Description
Knowing ourselves deeply goes beyond our stories. It goes to the root of all operations of existence. It is knowing (in the heart) the essence of what drives all human hearts, and what causes a pervasive inner suffering. It is knowing intimately, through our own experience, the nature of all things.

“Awareness is your refuge. Awareness of the changingness of feelings, of attitudes, of moods, of material change and emotional change. Stay with that, because it’s a refuge that is indestructible. It’s not something that changes. It’s a refuge you can trust in. This refuge is not something that you create. It’s not a creation. It’s not an ideal. It’s very practical and very simple, but easily overlooked or not noticed. When you’re mindful, you’re beginning to notice, it’s like this.”
“The degree to which we cannot deeply feel our body’s interior is the degree to which we crave excessive external stimulation.”
